  • Chantal Claret: the self proclaimed feminist that is misogynistic and bullies teenage girls on the internet - A story by people fed up with her shit.

    adultbully:

Self appointed feminist Chantal Claret is actually the furthest thing from a feminist, despite how vocal she has been about women’s subordinate position. A feminist does not shame other women (in this case she was shaming a TEENAGE girl) for their choices, a feminist does not reinforce the idea that if you dress in a way that is deemed ‘not respectful’ it is okay and justified for others to disrespect you. Yet here she is. I don’t want to necessarily use the term slut shaming because for slut shaming to exist it would suggest that a slut is a state that exists, which makes the notion problematic. However if we go with the slut shaming notion and for this instance ignore the flaws, essentially Chantal is slut shaming a teenager.

It’s funny too, that in defence of her friend (after these teenagers appeared to call Lynz Way a slut) Chantal calls this girl just that. If you’re so offended by a derogatory word that carries nothing but negative connotations, don’t use it as a counter attack because it makes any argument you may have had collapse in on itself.

Justification for attacking teenagers on a social networking site? ‘it’s fun’.

Okay then, well if you’re trying to argue that you’re not a bully don’t excuse your actions by saying you get enjoyment out of it.

You’re a fucking 31 year old WOMAN, you do not need to be searching your name, or your friends names, up on twitter to find someone to argue with. Especially not a teenager. You’re an adult, you should know better. It’s disgusting that you’re using your level of success to spread and reinforce such disgusting, sexist bullshit opinions.

Chantal was not tagged in the original tweets, she hunted them out and aggressively attacked these girls and in doing so couldn’t put forward any better argument than that they are whores, too.

Here with have Chantal’s feeble attempt to defuse the situation, by defending people’s right to be a ‘slut’ and even says she ‘loves it’, but then goes on to say that these girls she attacked on twitter have done ‘worse’. Suggesting that them taking pictures she deems as ‘slutty’ is worse than being a ‘slut’. This bat shit insane woman needs to take a step back from the internet, reassess her views on woman and feminism, and then come back when she can hold an argument without a million contradictions.

Here we have Chantal joking about rape, because sexual abuse is just such a HILARIOUS topic and treating sexual abuse like it’s a light hearted and something you can joke about is really respectful to those who have been sexually abused.

AND THIS GROWN WOMAN IS MEANT TO BE A ROLE MODEL

I sometimes question why people take that so seriously. She was obviously joking around with her husband. Sorry, but there’s no need to hate on her for that. Yes, rape isn’t a joke. But no need to blow up over this.

rape is never something to joke about. what if a fan of hers who had been raped had seen this? what effect do you think this would have on them? joking about rape is never acceptable, no matter who you are

I never said it was acceptable. I just think this whole ordeal is being blown way out of proportion.
